Q&A with Heidi

What does a facilitator do?

My job as facilitator is to hold space for my client - listening, encouraging and validating. I hold space in love, non-judgment and most of all, safety. I got you! A client will be able to challenge herself/himself during the journey knowing that she/he is safe. Perhaps one will go a little deeper, or push through discomfort, knowing that I am sitting right there. As a psychedelic integration coach, I am able to help draw out the new narrative or connect dots after the journey with questions and support. I will encourage and offer options for continued healing.

Why are you interested in psilocybin?

Psilocybin has reset my brain. Psilocybin has allowed me to not only recognize but change the patterns and responses I learned at a young age. As an empath, I have been able to connect with people deeply with integrity and honesty; I am honored to hold space for individuals while they heal and reclaim their authentic Self. I have always sought out the magic of plants and their healing modalities. Psilocybin is an exciting addition to my natural medicine cabinet.

What are some of the benefits of psilocybin?

Psilocybin empowers people to take charge of their lives and write their own stories. Too often we fall into someone else’s narrative and lose sight of our true being and essence. And that can be a lonely, dark place. Offering safety and hope through psilocybin has been extremely gratifying, and a privilege.

How do you approach sessions with clients?

A clients’ safety and comfort is tantamount to a successful journey. I strive to achieve this by developing a relationship of trust and affability that allows a client to surrender to the medicine and have greater freedom in their exploration. I am thoughtful and thorough in helping my clients create intentions to live the life they were meant to live.

What do you enjoy in your free time?

I re-energize by being present in the natural world - be it gardening, hiking, and being on the water. As a newly minted “empty nester," I’m excited to discover new hobbies and interests that are all mine!
